The Ordered Universe Project and OxNet have teamed up for the 2017–2018 academic year to offer an academic course for sixth form students in the north-east of England. The launch will be hosted by The National Glass Centre in Sunderland on Wednesday 22nd November, and local schools, students, and teachers have been invited to join us and learn more about the scheme and what we are planning for 2018.
We will soon be opening applications to be a part of the next OxNet North East cohort: the course this year will include a series of seminars at the National Glass Centre delivered by artists and senior Durham academics, a two-day residential school in Durham over the Easter vacation period, and then a week-long residential course at Pembroke College, Oxford in the summer vacation.
The application information for the OxNet North East 2017–2018 scheme will be advertised here as soon as it is available. The Ordered Universe Project team are excited to be a part of the scheme again and we are looking forward to working with this year’s cohort of students.
