Ordered Universe in Aotearoa

Tom completes his lecture-tour in New Zealand, and will be talking on Monday about Ordered Universe in two, almost back-back sessions. For more reflections on Tom’s other experiences, conversations and debates take a look at his blog, Faith and Wisdom in Science. It certainly looks like a very stimulating series of discussions and encounters! The interest provoked by Ordered Universe and Robert Grosseteste’s engagement with the world around him, conceptually and really (as it were), has been heart-warming and delightful to watch.

Part of the Centre for Science Communication Science Communication Distinguished Communicator Series, which began in with the foundation of the Centre in 2008, Tom will be talking about the Ordered Universe project from its inception, its ambitions to edit, translate and analyse, contextually and scientifically, the scientific treatises of Robert Grosseteste, and its methods and practice.
